Republican's Spineless

Incomprehensible is Republicans understand that we are at war and understand what kind of an enemy we are facing. We know we must attack terrorists on many different fronts including militarily, diplomatically with other nations, and financially for our terrorist enemies are relentless.

So too, are the internal enemies of America who are similarly relentless in their attacks. Democrats.

Republicans can support killing and capturing terrorists because we understand the enemy we face but yet Republicans do not see the internal enemy before them. How can this be? How can so called Senator Schumer create a scandal out of nothing and Republicans try to get along?

Senator Schumer, aided by the national media, made it appear as if the president and his staff did something wrong by firing eight federal prosecutors. This ability is a constitutional allowance. In fact, the Clinton so called administration fired 93 of 94 federal prosecutors in 1993.

Perhaps Republicans were afraid to get between Senator Schumer and a television camera.

I suggest, that if soldiers and Marines can daily face enemy attacks, Republicans can find the backbones to stand up to the lies, distortions, and half-truths.

Republicans can't wait for the left to disintegrate. We must attack and defend.

Heads I Win, Tails I Win

The fundamental goal of the Democrap Party is clear; embarrass the president of the United States.

After news of Murtha's "slow-bleed" strategy was revealed on this blog and other outlets, the democraps have come up with a new strategy: micromanagement of the war effort.

If the president's troop surge plan works, the democraps can date the turnaround to when they started "managing defeat."

If the president's troop surge plan does not work, they have further ammunition against the president.

Speaker Pelosi has not kept her campaign promises to date. We can, however, expect her and the others like Murtha who wish America to lose to relentlessly continue on their destructive path.

al-Qaida and Pakistan

It was reported that former U.S. Secretary of State, Colin Powell, gave Pakistan's president Musharraf two options prior to the first Allied bombing runs in Afghanistan against al-Qaida. Either play ball and receive U.S. financial and military aid or be bombed back to the stone age.

Now that we know al-Qaida is reforming operations in Pakistan, perhaps it is time to either cut assistance to Mr. Musharraf or attack the al-Qaida bases in Pakistan.

al-Qaida propaganda tapes are now making their way to the west in a matter of days, not weeks or months as happened a few years ago.

Former U.S. National Intelligence Director John Negroponte stated that "from their leaders' (al-Qaida) secure hideout in Pakistan" they are overseeing operations in the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe. We may also surmise in America.

On the chance that Musharraf, for political reasons, seems to be helping us less than he is, attacking al-Qaida bases against his "protestations" would give him the political cover he needs. Ignoring the re-growth of al-Qaida is as negligent as a cancer patient ignoring an obvious growth.

Coward Al-Sadr Flees Iraq to Iran

Al-Sadr, the radical Shiite coward, has fled Iraq for Iran in advance of the American announcement that the Iraqi borders with Iran and Syria would be closed.

Al-Sadr would have his followers in the Madhi Army fight America "To the death." Yet, al-Sadr runs like a woman in a burqua at the first sign of trouble.

I still do not understand why al-Sadr was not killed or captured at least three years ago but he needs to find out that there are no virgins waiting for him.

Paying a "fair share" of taxes and prosperity

One of the more common slogans arising from Marxism was, and still is, unfortunately, "The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer." A self-defeating statement and certainly wrong in the current America.

Everyone as a group who upgrades their job skills and/or education can and still does succeed as a group in America. There are isolated poor people who never succeed. That is most often due to laziness, temperament, lack of current skills or similar reasons. Likewise, there are rich people who lose their businesses and homes for many other reasons.

As a whole, though, everyone in a socio-economic category is improving their lifestyles in the United States.

Congress’ Joint Economic Committee recently disclosed that the so-called rich, the top half of income earners in America pay 97 percent of the United States' income taxes. What one may call the "super-rich," those making more than 95% of other Americans pay 54% of all income taxes.

Marxism advocates an income tax so as to help make everyone equal. In spite of a punitive assessment of prosperity and success, the rich are still getting richer and yes, the poor are getting richer in America not solely because they don't pay their "fair share" of income taxes.

Winning the war against terrorists

In this article, I will make an exception to my long-standing policy of not capitalizing Muslim, Islam, or the Qu-ran in the hopes that there are still decent Muslims out there who will fight the terrorists.

Winning the war against terrorists requires a continued assault both militarily, diplomatically, and economically against terrorists and countries that either sponsor terrorists or look the other way at terrorist activities.

There is yet another way to defeat terrorists to have the best chance of success. This war has lasted for at least thirty years but only recognized (and only by some that we are at war) in America on September 11, 2001. This war will probably last another thirty years before the end. Non-radical Muslims must speak up to defeat those in their midst who take the violent portions of the Qur'an and twist the words for their violent goals.

To be sure, here in the United States and in other countries, there are Muslims working against the terrorists in their midst at a legitimate and probable risk of their own deaths and the deaths of their families. Terrorists have been killing Arabic, Afghan, Pushtun, and other translators and contractors not only as a matter of policy, but because the Qur’an calls for the death penalty for helping infidels.

So far, the silence from the Muslim community is deafening. This silence only encourages the terrorists much as the media and some in a political party encourage the terrorists by their words and actions.

There are many more good Muslims than bad Muslims. Paraphrasing a cliché, the way for evil to triumph is for good Muslims to remain silent against the extremists. It is time for Muslims across the world to stand up against the terrorists who have hijacked your religion.
